Wellington resident Lori Phelps said there were not enough takers. There were 28 people who signed up for the 54 seat charter bus for the final regular season game between Wellington and Ulysses on Friday night.Ulysses is a four hour and 40 minute trip or 253 miles one way. Wellington is still in the district hunt and can still make the playoffs with a win in Ulysses and Rose Hill victory over Mulvane.“I think if we had won at Mulvane we might have had more interest, but maybe not,” Phelps said. People who paid for the trip can pick up their money at the high school today or get with her at the freshman/JV game tonight against Mulvane.Follow us on Twitter.last_img
