By virtue of his place, Aouani received an All-American honorable mention. For the first time this decade, no men’s outdoor runner from Syracuse made first- or second-team All-American. BYU’s Clayton Young won the event with a time of 29:16.60, one of three Cougars who finished in the top five.SU senior Paige Stoner and sophomore Laura Dickinson will have their chance at All-American status in the women’s event tomorrow night. Stoner was recognized as the top female runner in the northeast in last week’s regional awards. She also made first-team All-American last year in the steeplechase. Dickinson is making her first ever NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships appearance after a breakout sophomore season. AdvertisementThis is placeholder text Commentslast_img
