The Bosnian has been linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium all summer after a disappointing 2014/15 campaign and Wilfried Bony’s arrival in January. The Blues have had two offers for the Anfield attacker rejected, with the second amounting to £40m £35m plus £5m in add-ons though the Merseyside club are said to want £50m. But Roy Evans, who managed Liverpool between 1994 and 1998, reckons a deal is as good as completed. He reckons Liverpools huge spending in recent weeks means the departure of Sterling is inevitable.
