first_imgDECLAN BONNER says that his Donegal Under-21s will face a ‘very trying 70 minutes’ when they meet Tyrone in the McKenna Cup tonight.Donegal have entered Bonner’s Under-21s in the competition and they meet a strong Tyrone side tonight at Healy Park in Omagh.Following a narrow defeat to UUJ and a loss to Cavan on Sunday, Donegal will get another baptism of fire tonight with Tyrone boss Mickey Harte confirming returns to his starting line-up for Mattie Donnelly, Niall Morgan, Tiernan McCann, Ronan O’Neill and Darren McCurry. “We know it’ll be a very trying 70 minutes, but it’s about seeing lads stand up and be counted and about getting our level of performances to where we want them to be,” Bonner said in an interview with Donegal Sport Hub.“It will be a tough night at the office, but we know that and it’s a chance again to see where we are.“Regardless of results, we will be in a much better place than we were 22 months ago.“There’ll be a few sore bodies after Sunday, so we’ll have to freshen things up. “We have to try and be as competitive as we can.”Bonner says there have been ‘more positives than negatives’ so far in the competition.Bonner said: “We took this competition as a learning curve.
